Master Class stats by the numbers – what is the average score?

There have now been over 500 Master Class tests completed in the TPS Portal.

So, we thought we’d celebrate this milestone by looking at some significant stats.

197 –That is the number of unique individuals who have sat at least one Master Class test.

75% – Is the percentage of test takers who have achieved a pass of 80% or higher on their first attempt in any given test

80% – Is the average score for the Healthy Homes module.

91% – Is the average score for the RTA Amendments Part 1 module.

89% – Is the average score for the RTA Amendments Part 2 module.

88% – Is the average score for the RTA Amendments Part 3 module.

88% – Is the average score for the RTA Crimes module.

90% – Is the average score for the Tenant Liability module.

81% – Is the average score for the Privacy Principles module.

92% – Is the average score for the Pool Safety module.

94% – Is the average score for the Meth Contamination module.

94% – Is the average score for the Healthy Homes Amendments module.

89% – Is the average score for the Top 8 Reasons to Apply for Termination module.

Which means the overall average score is… drum roll please… 83.8%.

Tenancy.co.nz managing director Craeg Williams believes the outstanding overall average is testament to the work ethic of those participants.

“When we came up with the format for Master Class, we decided to set the pass rate at 80%,” Williams said.

“This benchmark is high, but we wanted all those who passed to be able to show their company and clients that they know their stuff.

“To see an overall average of 83.8% and a pass rate of 75% is pleasing. It shows that a pass is really achievable, and I want to congratulate everyone who has contributed to these outstanding results.”
